HR Audit

The HR Auditor reviews employees and process-related records, operational workflows, and statutory compliance. This role identifies operational gaps, legal risks, and areas for strategic improvement across the entire HR-related employee lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Compliance & Risk Management: Verify adherence to local, state, and national labour laws, employment regulations, HR governance and internal company policies.
• Documentation Review: Audit physical and digital HR-related files, forms, contracts, handbooks and such HR-related documents, for completeness, security, and accuracy.
• Process Evaluation: Examine core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, compensation structures, performance management, HR operations, HR analytics, BPHR, offboarding and any other HR and / HR-related activities.
• Stakeholder Interviews: Conduct discussions with HR team members and managers to evaluate how policies function in daily practice.
• Reporting & Recommendations: Prepare audit reports detailing findings, risk exposure levels, and prioritized, actionable steps for remediation.
• Continuous Updation: Staying relevant with the latest employment laws and trends.
• Continuous Improvement: Focusing on areas of improvement processes, procedures, organizational structures, and job descriptions • TAT Adherence: Completing the HR audit and presenting the insights within the agreed TAT.

Skills Required • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of HR functions and HR-related activities. • Staying updated with the latest process developments, trends, tools, compliance, regulations and techniques in HR.

Educational Qualifications & Required Experience • Masters in Human Resources (Full-Time). • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience as HR-Auditor. • Proven experience in NBFC / BFSI highly preferred.
