About this role
- Online Travel platforms obtain hotel data from multiple sources, including GDSs, bed banks, and other suppliers. Because each source lists hotels differently, this often results in duplicate or mismatched hotel entries.
- Hotel Mapping solves this problem by identifying and merging duplicate hotel listings across multiple sources into a single, clean, accurate listing.
- This removes duplicates, improves data quality, and ensures customers see the right hotel every time. A Hotel Mapping Expert organizes, matches, and validates hotel data using tools, logic, and automation.
- This role is critical for improving customer experience, reducing booking errors, and scaling travel platforms efficiently.
