Apeejay Institute requires Hostel Warden for its Institute located at Jalandhar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including room assignments and maintenance requests.
• Supervise hostel staff and student leaders, providing guidance and support.
• Student Support:
• Act as the primary point of contact for residents regarding concerns or issues related to hostel life.
• Provide support and resources for students facing personal, academic, or social challenges.
• Facilitate conflict resolution among residents and promote a harmonious living environment.
• Safety and Security:
• Ensure the safety and security of residents by enforcing hostel rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with campus security and emergency services as needed.
• Community Building:
• Organize events and activities to foster community spirit and engagement among residents.
• Encourage student participation in decision-making processes related to hostel management.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of residents, incidents, and maintenance requests.
• Prepare reports on hostel operations and student issues for university administration.
• Assist in budget management and procurement of supplies for the hostel.
• Policy Implementation:
• Implement and enforce university policies and procedures related to student housing.
• Stay informed about best practices in student accommodation and apply them accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Education, Management).
• Experience: Previous experience in student housing, residential life, or related fields is preferred.
