Hostel Warden

We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden to ensure the safety, discipline, well-being, and proper management of students residing in the hostel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students residing in the hostel.
• Maintain hostel discipline, rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Maintain daily attendance and student movement records.
• Monitor entry and exit of students and ensure compliance with hostel timings.
• Handle student concerns, complaints, and day-to-day hostel-related issues.
• Ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel premises.
• Coordinate with security, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration teams.
• Monitor visitors and ensure compliance with visitor-entry procedures.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and immediately inform concerned authorities/management.
• Maintain records related to hostel occupancy, attendance, incidents, leave, and permissions.
• Conduct regular rounds and ensure the safety and security of students.
• Coordinate with parents/guardians and college authorities whenever required.
• Ensure students follow hostel policies and maintain a peaceful environment.
• Report disciplinary issues, incidents, and other concerns to the Hostel/Administration Head.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
• Eligibility & Skills

• Qualification: Graduate / Post-Graduate from a recognized university.
• Previous experience in hostel administration, student management, residential schools, colleges, or similar institutions will be preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong discipline and student-management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records.
• Ability to handle emergency and difficult situations calmly.
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
