Hostel Caretaker

Position: Hostel Caretaker
Department: Hostel Administration

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily hostel operations and maintain discipline.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of hostel premises.
• Monitor student attendance, entry, and exit.
• Address students day-to-day concerns and provide necessary assistance.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security, maintenance, and administration teams.
• Ensure hostel rules and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain records of hostel residents, visitors, and incidents.
• Report maintenance issues, emergencies, or disciplinary concerns to the concerned authority.
• Handle basic administrative and supervisory duties related to hostel management.

Eligibility:

• Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate preferred.
• Previous experience in hostel, residential, school, college, or facility management is preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Responsible, disciplined, and approachable.
• Ability to handle emergencies and work flexible hours when required.
