Hospitality Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

Guest Management Welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and ensure a pleasant stay.

Housekeeping Supervision Monitor room cleaning, bathrooms, common areas, and overall property hygiene.

Staff Management Assign daily duties and supervise housekeeping, kitchen, and support staff.

Guest Complaints Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and ensure timely solutions.

Property Maintenance Check rooms, facilities, equipment, and report maintenance issues promptly.

Food & Service Coordination Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food service.

Inventory Management Monitor housekeeping, kitchen, and guest supplies and maintain stock records.

Daily Operations – Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the property.

Safety & Security – Ensure guest and staff safety and follow emergency procedures.

Reporting – Maintain daily reports for occupancy, housekeeping, maintenance, supplies, and guest feedback.

Guest Experience – Assist guests with local information, activities, transportation, and property facilities.

Quality Standards – Ensure cleanliness, hospitality, and service standards are consistently maintained.

Preferred candidate profile

Previous experience in hospitality, homestay, resort, or hotel operations

Good communication and guest-handling skills

Experience in housekeeping supervision

Ability to manage and coordinate staff

Basic knowledge of property maintenance

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to maintain stock and daily records

Flexible to work weekends and holidays

Responsible, reliable, and well-organized

Knowledge of the local area and nearby attractions is an advantage

Basic computer/Excel skills preferred

Experience working in a farmstay or estate environment is an added advantage
