Hospital Procurement & Operation Manager

ole & Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of medical equipment, testing machines, hospital consumables, and other essential supplies.
• Identify reliable vendors and obtain, compare, and negotiate quotations.
• Evaluate products based on quality, specifications, price, warranty, and after-sales service.
• Coordinate installation, servicing, calibration, AMC/CMC, and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and timely replenishment of essential items.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to understand and fulfill their purchase requirements.
• Monitor day-to-day hospital operations, facilities, equipment, and essential services.
• Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, equipment records, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow up with vendors regarding pending orders, breakdowns, repairs, replacements, and deliveries.
• Prepare regular reports on purchases, inventory, equipment maintenance, and operational issues.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining required quality and standards.
• Identify operational issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Hospital Management, Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in hospital procurement, medical equipment, healthcare operations, or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of medical equipment, laboratory/testing machines, hospital consumables, and supplies.
• Experience in vendor management, quotation comparison, negotiation, and procurement.
• Knowledge of AMC/CMC, equipment maintenance, calibration, warranty, and service coordination.
• Strong inventory and stock management skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently monitor hospital requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Hospital/Healthcare experience preferred.
