Home Loans Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Manage overall branch sales operations, including business development, customer service, and compliance.

• Drive home loan business growth through direct sourcing, DSAs, connectors, builder tie-ups, and open-market channels.

• Build and maintain strong customer and builder relationships to maximize business value and cross-sell opportunities.

• Lead, train, and motivate the sales team; recruit high-performing talent while fostering engagement.

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch sales targets.

• Monitor branch portfolio performance and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Risk teams to streamline loan processes, maintain portfolio quality, and control NPAs.
• Oversee collections for acquired portfolios to ensure healthy asset quality.
• Track market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback; recommend strategies to enhance business outcomes.
• Execute promotional campaigns, contests, and innovative initiatives to boost customer acquisition.

Preferred candidate profile

25 years of experience in Home Loan or Mortgage Sales within BFSI/NBFC; exposure to Loans Against Property preferred.

• Prior experience in direct customer acquisition and channel sales; strong local market knowledge and established regional network.

• Proven ability to lead sales teams and manage branch-level P&L.

• Strong business development, networking, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities. • High motivation, self-starter attitude, and bias for action in a high-performance environment.

• Strong analytical skills to track performance and drive profitability.

• Working knowledge of Excel and sales MIS tools
