Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Home Health Coding Trainer to train, mentor, and develop Home Health Coders. The trainer will be responsible for delivering new hire training, conducting refresher sessions, evaluating coder performance, and ensuring adherence to client and industry coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct induction and training programs for new Home Health Coders.
• Develop and update training materials, SOPs, presentations, and assessments.
• Train coders on ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, OASIS documentation, PDGM concepts, and Home Health regulations.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct quality audits and identify training needs based on performance trends.
• Organize refresher training sessions to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Client teams to address process updates and knowledge gaps.
• Track and maintain training records, attendance, and assessment scores.
• Support process transitions and implementation of new coding requirements.
• Ensure compliance with productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.
