HK Executive - Royal Orchid Central Pune

Job Summary: The Housekeeping Executive directs all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations. They manage the housekeeping staff, oversee department budgets, control inventories, and collaborate closely with the Front Office and Engineering teams to maximize room availability and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Quality Control

• Maintain Cleanliness Standards: Supervise the daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, restaurants, and employee areas.
• Room Inspections: Perform routine inspections of VIP rooms, guest floors, and public spaces to ensure pristine condition.
• Turnaround Management: Coordinate with the front desk to ensure swift cleaning and release of check-out rooms for arriving guests.
• Laundry Operations: Oversee the washing, pressing, and handling of guest clothing, staff uniforms, and hotel linens.

2. Team Leadership Training

• Staff Management: Hire, schedule, train, and evaluate room attendants, supervisors, housepersons, and laundry staff.
• Performance Reviews: Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks, communicate guest complaints, and review performance goals.
• Safety Compliance: Train the team on chemical safety (HAZMAT), ergonomic lifting techniques, and hotel emergency protocols.

3. Financial Inventory Control

• Budgeting: Manage the department s operating budget, controlling labor costs and tracking expenses.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of linens, uniforms, cleaning chemicals, guest amenities, and minibar items.
• Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external suppliers for ordering supplies, pest control, or specialized deep-cleaning services.

4. Guest Relations Maintenance

• Resolution of Complaints: Address guest feedback regarding room cleanliness or missing amenities promptly and professionally.
• Maintenance Coordination: Report property damage, broken fixtures, or mechanical issues directly to the Engineering/Maintenance team via Property Management Systems (PMS).
