Job Summary

The XML Executive is responsible for converting, validating, and maintaining XML files for publishing workflows, ensuring accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with client and publisher standards The role supports end-to-end content production and works closely with editorial, typesetting, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in XML production for academic/STM publishing
  
• Strong knowledge of XML, DTD standards
  
• Hands-on experience with XML Editor or similar XML tools
  
• Good understanding of publishing workflows (copyediting, typesetting, QA)
  
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge (macros, regex) is an advantage
