About the Role:

Job Description  

Software Engineers/ Senior Software Engineers are responsible for solving complex problems, tuning and writing advanced queries, performing validations, and designing, testing, and executing data migration scripts to transfer data from legacy systems into modern enterprise applications. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that data quality, integrity, and completeness are maintained or enhanced throughout the migration process, while also identifying and eliminating duplicate records.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Extract data from legacy enterprise systems and databases.
• Run and test extracted data according to the technical specifications from the front-end application. 
• Extract the data from the back-end databases using SQL Scripts and designing the reports. 
• Resolve technical issues with conversion.
• Provide support and communication via email, phone, and in person.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Document ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
• Ensure ETL processes comply with data governance and security policies.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data extraction and transformation
• Ensure that any service disruptions are reported immediately and summarized weekly to the corresponding team lead.
