Hiring - Snowflake Data Engineer / Data Architect

Role & responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Data Architect with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, SQL, Python, cloud data engineering, and data modernization. The candidate will contribute to enterprise data transformation initiatives covering legacy platform modernization, modern data architecture, BI analytics, data governance, and AI-ready data foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms, data warehouses, and ELT pipelines.
• Develop complex data transformations using Snowflake SQL, Python, dbt, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design data models, fact/dimension structures, data layers, and integration patterns.
• Support migration and modernization of legacy EDW, ETL, and BI platforms to Snowflake.
• Perform source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, data quality validation, and migration testing.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, warehouse utilization, and cost.
• Implement Snowflake security including RBAC, masking, row-level access, and secure data sharing.
• Support BI modernization, including Snowflake data models for Power BI and migration/assessment of legacy BI platforms such as Sisense/OBIEE.
• Contribute to enterprise data governance, metadata, lineage, and cataloging initiatives.
• Build data foundations that support AI/ML and GenAI use cases, including governed and reusable enterprise data assets.
• Participate in client discovery sessions, solution design, architecture discussions, and technical presentations.
• Mentor data engineers and contribute to technical standards, reusable accelerators, and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile:

Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Data Architect with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, SQL, Python, cloud data engineering, and data modernization.

• 7+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL and strong Python skills.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms Azure or AWS.
• Experience in data migration / modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of data security, governance, quality, and lineage.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
