Hiring Sales Head - Loose Furniture

The Loose Furniture Head is responsible for driving sales, managing display standards, handling inventory, and ensuring excellent customer experience for the loose furniture category in the store. The role involves team supervision, category performance management, and coordination with operations and warehouse teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the Loose Furniture category.
• Drive premium and high-value sales through strong customer engagement.
• Monitor KPIs such as conversion ratio, average billing value (ABV), and category performance.
• Implement upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue.
• Analyze sales trends and take corrective action to improve performance.
• Handle premium walk-in clients with personalized product consultation.
• Resolve customer queries and escalations professionally.
• Ensure smooth order processing and coordinate with factory/warehouse for timely delivery.
• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain VM standards as per brand guidelines.
• Ensure proper tagging, pricing, and product information display.
• Conduct regular floor walks to maintain display aesthetics.
• Coordinate with warehouse for stock replenishment.
• Monitor stock levels and manage fast/slow-moving inventory.
• Maintain accurate stock records and prevent shrinkage.
• Coordinate inter-store transfers when required.
• Ensure warehouse stock is aligned with sales requirements.
• Supervise and mentor Category Heads and Sales Executives.
• Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews.
• Provide product knowledge and selling skills training.
• Drive team motivation and performance accountability.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Track category performance and suggest improvement strategies.
• Maintain customer database for repeat business

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Admin, or related field
• 15-20 years in retail sales
• Leadership and team management ability
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Good understanding of furniture products and materials
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / retail software/PPT
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience in luxury furniture/interior/lifestyle retail preferred.
• High attention to detail, aesthetics, and service excellence.
