Hiring Quality Auditor for Denial Coding( E&M and Surgery)

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit denied claims to identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and denial root causes.
• Review E&M and Surgery coding for accuracy and compliance.
• Validate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze denial trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide feedback, training, and quality improvement support to coding teams.
• Maintain audit reports, denial trackers, and MIS.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with coding, denial management, and operations teams to reduce denials.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Medical Coding, Auditing, or Denial Management.
• Strong knowledge of E&M, Surgery Coding, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and NCCI edits.
• Experience in coding audits and denial analysis preferred.
• CPC/CCS/COC/CIC certification preferred.
• Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to identify denial trends, conduct root cause analysis, and support coder education.
