Hiring Plant Manager -Kurkumbh

Role & responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations, including, production, maintenance, engineering, quality
• Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Deliver plant performance KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, delivery and productivity.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and Henkel corporate standards related to Safety, Health, Environment.
• Lead workforce planning, capability development and succession planning for plant employees.
• Serve as the primary company representative for local authorities, statutory bodies and employee unions/councils.
• Manage plant budgets, investment planning, CAPEX projects and fixed asset management.
• Drive implementation of Henkel Production System (HPS) initiatives and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, innovation and high performance across the plant.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Qualification on Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt will be desirable.
• Approximately 9-12 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience managing production operations in:
• A large manufacturing facility with significant workforce scale, OR
• A small to mid-sized manufacturing plant with end-to-end operational responsibility.
• Strong exposure to batch process manufacturing environments.
• Experience in Pharma (API), Chemicals, Coatings/Lubricants, FMCG industries. Experience in manufacturing plants with strong focus on clean room operations is also highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies
