• Cloudnine Hospital is hiring Nurses with relevant experience in NICU, OT, LDR/ Labour Room, Triage, Ward, ICN and Nursing Education for our upcoming branch at Bannerghatta, Bangalore

Bannerghatta- Bangalore ( Upcoming Branch)

• Required NICU Nurses

1- Need candidates with relevant experience in NICU- Level 2 and Level 3

• Required LDR Nurses

1- Need candidates with relevant experience in Labour room- Level 2 and Level 3

• Emergency department Nurses ( Need candidates with relevant experience in Triage- Level 3 )

• OT Nurses

1- Need candidate with Laproscopic OT Experience

2- Scrub Nurse Experience is mandatory

Lead Specialist OT LDR monitors the functioning of the Senior/ Junior/ Specialist Nurse Executives, Technicians of the specified areas and thereby provides care to the customers by rendering their knowledge in identifying the normalcy from abnormalcy. She demonstrates administrative skills in managing the Unit.

Job Responsibilities: In addition to supervising basic nursing care, responsibilities of Lead Nurse Specialist include (but are not limited to):

Daily activities:

1. Supervises daily inventory checks before every shift commences.

2. Collects feedback of flow of work process of the previous shifts in her absence.

3. Maintains cordial conduct among the Staffs working in the unit for easy flow of information.

4. Supervises and guides staffs to perform procedures as per the policies and protocols.

5. Guides the staff in arranging referrals and conducting delivery in the absence/ presence of Consultant/ Registrar.

6. Keeps a consistent check on the staff activities and motivates them.

7. Assists the lactating mothers and take classes in the absence of the Lactation Counselor.

8. Monitors and channelizes admission-discharge process, in-house and out-house investigations for easy continuity of care.

9. Mentors Nurse Executives in providing education, information and emotional support to the patients family and caregivers by correlating the disease condition to the symptoms presented.

10. Orients the Onboard Nurses regarding the functioning of the unit and allots mentor for learning the routine staff activities. Monitors and coordinates with Clinical Nurse Instructors for smooth onboarding.

11. Performs life saving measures as and when required.

12. Supervises supply of sterile equipments from CSSD.

13. Tracks and maintains departmental QIs and shares the report with Manager Nursing on Monthly basis.

14. Coordinates with Housekeeping department for providing good customer care.

15. Coordinate and communicate with the maintenance department regarding breakage or malfunctioning of any equipment and get it repaired or replaced.

16. Coordinates and communicates with biomedical department for maintaining the biomedical equipments to the best of usage.

17. Maintains records in the floor i.e admission, discharge, lending and borrowing register, CSSD register, procedure book, inventory book etc.

18. Supervises waste disposal of the floor as per Infection Control Policy.

19. Performs regular store indents from pharmacy and stores department for replenishing the consumed items as per FIFO (First in First Out) system.

20. Solves interdepartmental and customer related issues and channelizes it to the concerned line of authority.

21. Disseminates managerial information to the staffs.

22. Coordinates inter/intra hospital transfers with the Manager Nursing Consultant.

23. Reports daily to Manager Nursing Consultant regarding the functioning of the Department
