Hiring Mechanical Maintenance Technician For Nagpur location

We are hiring Mechanical Maintenance Technician for Our client chemical manufacturing plant for Amravati Road , Nagpur location

Job role:

To carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Execute effective preventive maintenance of chemical processing plant and equipment with safe working practices.
• Predictive & Condition Monitoring Maintenance Experience.
• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of pumps, compressors, acid columns & pipelines, hazardous chemical reactors, agitators, Utility pipelines, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Handle maintenance of acid transfer systems, storage tanks, and reaction vessels.
• Carry out dismantling, repairing, replacing, and reassembling mechanical components & equipments .
• Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, and calibration of equipment.
• Knowledge of safe working practices in environments handling hazardous acids (e.g., HCl, HSO, Nitric Acid, Acetic acid etc).
• Ensure leak-proof joints, gaskets, and seals in acid service lines.
• Exposure in hazardous chemical manufacturing equipment maintenance working will be preferred.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and suggest corrective & preventive actions.
• Inspect critical equipment for wear, corrosion, and damage.
• Awareness of industrial safety practices and hazardous chemical handling
• Proficient in the use of advance maintenance tools and measuring instruments .
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Poka Yoke in day to day operation of maintenance work.
• Working experience in hazardous industry zone 0, zone 1 will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

• ITI - Fitter/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience:

• 6-8 years of experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Paint, Steel, Marine, or other Process Industries.
• Experience in handling hazardous acid systems is highly preferred
