About this role
- Business Finance Partnering: Partner with vertical/operations leadership and provide financial governance and decision support.
- P&L & Performance Management: Understand revenue, cost, gross margin and EBITDA drivers; perform Budget/Forecast vs Actual analysis and explain underlying variances.
- Customer Profitability: Own customer level profitability preparation and reporting to stakeholders, identify negative/low-margin accounts and support margin improvement. Customer profitability analysis is explicitly part of the existing BFM mandate.
- HC & Cost Governance: Review headcount requirements, utilization/productivity and operational hiring from a financial perspective.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis for assigned verticals.
- Pricing & Business Cases: Financially validate pricing proposals and build business cases/scenario models.
- Margin Improvement: Work with Operations to identify and execute cost optimization and margin improvement opportunities.
- Business Insights: Go beyond reporting the variance and identify what operational/business driver caused it and what action is required. Impact analysis of underlying business drivers is specifically included in the internal role definition.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management or clients. Support special projects and initiatives as needed to drive business growth and operational excellence.
