Hiring For Supervisor Accounting

Role & responsibilities

• Positions in this function maintain general ledger accounts and related activities to produce financial statements and reports
• Performs account reconciliations and analyses, prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Analyzes and prepares financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
• Involved in the monthly/quarterly 'close' process
• Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits
• Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant with post qualification - 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and compliance or MBA with Finance
• Experience handling statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting requirements
• Solid knowledge of Ind AS, Indian GAAP/US GAAP, Companies Act, and auditing practices
• Good understanding of internal controls and financial processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel
