9 AM to 5 PM, 6 days working initially

Jobs and Responsibility -

• Create SmartFits installation quality-management system.
• Define quality SOPs, ITPs, checklists and acceptance standards.
• Set technical standards for set-out, alignment, plumbness, levels, anchoring, bracing and component fitment.
• Define first-bay, stage-wise and final quality hold points.
• Ensure only approved drawings, BOMs and installation methods are used.
• Review quality performance across all live projects.

Conduct periodic site quality audits and independent inspections.

- Own end-to-end plant quality for all manufactured products.

- Define and implement QMS, inspection plans, checklists and acceptance standards.

- Approve incoming raw material and critical bought-out components.

- Ensure steel grade, thickness, coating, dimensions and supplier test certificates meet specifications.

- Conduct first-piece, in-process and final inspection across roll forming, punching, welding, painting and packing.

- Ensure all components conform to approved drawings, BOMs and revision controls.

- Maintain traceability of batches, coils, components and inspection records.

- Release finished goods for dispatch only after quality clearance.

- Prevent dispatch of damaged, mismatched, incomplete or incorrectly packed material.

- Track rejection, rework, scrap, customer complaints and cost of poor quality.

- Lead root-cause analysis and CAPA for all internal and customer quality failures.

- Reduce rework, rejection, scrap and material wastage through process improvement.

- Establish quality gates before production, before packing and before dispatch.

- Coordinate with Engineering on tolerances, design-for-manufacturability and recurring production issues.

- Coordinate with Procurement on vendor quality, corrective actions and supplier improvement plans.

- Build and manage the plant quality team, inspectors and testing capability.

- Conduct regular quality audits of machines, gauges, tools, fixtures and production processes.

- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and control of non-conforming material.

- Train production teams on workmanship standards, defect prevention and self-inspection.

- Support structural certification, customer inspections, factory audits and documentation requirements.

- Publish a monthly quality dashboard to leadership.

Key KPIs: first-pass yield, rejection/rework %, scrap %, customer complaints, dispatch quality failures, CAPA closure time, supplier defect rate, audit score and cost of poor quality.

- Review critical deviations and obtain design-engineer approval where required.

- Ensure no unapproved substitution, modification or structural deviation is accepted

- Track NCRs, snags, rework and recurring installation defects.

- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective-action closure.

- Approve final QA dossiers before handover.

- Ensure as-built records, measurement logs, photographs and inspection reports are complete.

- Train Site PMs, Site Engineers and captains on quality standards.

- Build quality benchmarks by product type, crew and project.

- Report quality KPIs, rework cost, NCR trends and major risks to the Projects Head and CEO.
