Hiring For Project Manager- Finance

The ideal candidate should have:

Core Skills

• Strong experience in reconciliations and financial controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams.
• Ability to create reports, dashboards, metrics, and management information.
• A focus on improving processes and using automation where possible.

Behavioral Attributes

• Able to work independently and handle unclear situations.
• Focused on finding solutions rather than relying on established processes.
• Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in PMO, Finance governance & operations, audit, business management & transformation.
• Good to have - Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, workflow automation, or analytics tools

Not Required

• Previous team leadership or people management experience.
• Extensive senior management experience.
• Deep technical development skills.

Avoid

• Candidates seeking relocation for a fixed-term contract role.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to transactional operations.
