Hiring For Process Engineer (P&ID)- Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Documentation: Develop, review, and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD to reflect current plant configurations.
• Operational Support: Troubleshooting daily plant issues, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting process modifications to improve efficiency and yield.
• Heat & Mass Balance: Perform rigorous heat and mass balance calculations for various unit operations.
• Equipment Sizing: Sizing and selection of process equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and control valves.
• Simulation & Modeling: Utilize process simulation software to model steady-state and dynamic plant conditions.
• Instrument Knowledge: Basic understanding of control loops, logic diagrams (Cause & Effect), and PLC/DCS interfaces.
• Safety & Compliance: Participate in safety studies such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) and HAZID (Hazard Identification).
• Management of Change (MOC): Handle technical documentation and approvals for any process changes to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Work Experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Sector
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fluid flow, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, and separation processes.
• Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD (Required): High proficiency in 2D drafting and updating complex diagrams.
• Data Analysis: Advanced skills in MS Excel for engineering calculations and reporting.
• Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with industry codes and standards like API, ASME, and local safety regulations (e.g., Factories Act).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Safety, and Instrumentation).
