Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Specialist RTR to lead and manage key General Ledger (GL) and month-end close operations. You will be responsible for enforcing financial controls, optimizing intercompany processes, driving automation, and accelerating global financial close cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure accuracy of financial statements by enforcing robust internal controls and adhering to IFRS/GAAP standards. Identify and mitigate accounting risks proactive.
• Intercompany Process Optimization: Oversee intercompany transactions, resolve discrepancies, and align processes across global entities to minimize mismatches.
• Close Acceleration & Automation: Lead initiatives to shorten month-end close cycles, create SOPs, and automate repetitive tasks using financial technology tools.
• Process Standardization: Implement best practices across GL and RTR functions to drive global consistency and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for onshore leadership, facilitate knowledge transfers, and build robust backup management within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Educational Qualification: Postgraduate in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant core experience in RTR/General Ledger within a Shared Services / GCC environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and financial automation tools.
• Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of financial controls, intercompany reconciliations, process optimization, analytical problem-solving, and senior stakeholder management.
