Job Title - EM OP IP Medical Coder

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Medical Coders with expertise in Evaluation & Management (E&M), Outpatient (OP), and Inpatient (IP) coding to join our team in Chennai and Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate coding, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining productivity and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate medical coding for E&M, OP, and IP records
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements
• Analyze clinical documentation and identify gaps for clarification
• Maintain quality benchmarks and productivity targets
• Stay updated with coding updates and payer guidelines
• Participate in quality audits and feedback sessions

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Certification: CPC / CCS / CIC (mandatory)
• Education: Any Life Science / Medical / Paramedical graduate
• Experience:
• Freshers with certification OR 15 years experience in ED / OP / IP coding
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of E&M coding guidelines
• Ability to interpret physician documentation accurately
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with coding tools and software

Work Details
