Roles & Responsibilities GIS - Associate/SME - Trainer

GIS - Associate

• Perform GIS mapping and road digitization activities as per project requirements.
• Work on HD Maps, HD Lane, IVI Production, and navigation-related mapping.
• Handle spatial data processing, validation, and quality checks.
• Use GIS tools such as ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, AutoCAD, and Google Earth Pro.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of mapped data through defined QA/QC processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise in GIS mapping and geospatial processes.
• Handle complex GIS, road digitization, HD Maps, and navigation-related tasks.
• Review and validate spatial data and ensure process quality and accuracy.
• Support team members with process-related queries and technical guidance.
• Handle and monitor team performance, productivity, and quality.
• Conduct process audits and identify areas for improvement.

SME - Trainer

• Deliver training on GIS mapping, road digitization, HD Maps, HD Lane, and navigation processes.
• Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, and process documentation.
• Conduct new-hire, refresher, and process training sessions.
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments and practical exercises.
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve process knowledge and performance.
• Prepare and deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to identify training requirements.
