Hiring for Asset Recovery Auditor role - (Andheri East)

Role Purpose

To drive recovery of overdue, NPA, and written-off accounts in line with approved recovery policy, while ensuring legal, regulatory, and documentation compliance across all recovery actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute recovery strategy in adherence to the approved recovery policy and risk appetite
• Monitor overdue, NPA, and written-off accounts for recovery action and performance
• Track legal recovery actions, SARFAESI proceedings, and ongoing litigation
• Manage settlement, compromise, and waiver proposals through defined approval processes
• Oversee empanelment, monitoring, and compliance of recovery agents/agencies
• Ensure adequate documentation supporting recovery actions and write-offs
• Prepare and review recovery performance reports and MIS for management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and fair practices/customer protection requirements
• Support internal accounts review and timely regulatory submissions

Education

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Law, or related field; MBA preferred
• Alternative Saturday off

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in recovery, collections, or NPA management within banking/NBFC/fintech
