We’re looking for talented Copy Editors to join our publishing team in Chennai!

Position: Copy Editor
Location: Chennai
Experience: 2+ years
Work Mode: Work from Office initially Remote after 3–4 months

What You’ll Do
• Perform detailed copy editing and language editing of manuscripts and content
• Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, and sentence structure
• Enhance clarity, readability, consistency, and language quality
• Follow publisher-specific style guides and editorial standards
• Ensure consistency in terminology, style, formatting, and references
• Preserve the author’s intended meaning and voice while improving the language
• Collaborate with editorial and production teams to deliver high-quality content within timelines

What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in Copy Editing / Language Editing
Excellent command of written English
Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, syntax, and editorial style
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to identify and correct complex language issues
Experience in Publishing / E-publishing / Books / Journals / Academic Content is an advantage

Location Eligibility
Candidates currently based in Chennai or anywhere in Tamil Nadu are preferred.
Candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate to Chennai for the initial 3–4 months may also apply, as the role requires work from office during the initial period.
After the initial 3–4 months, the role will transition to remote work, subject to business requirements and performance.
