Role Description: The Business Development Executive role at Happy Roof is a full-time, on-site position based in Ambattur OT, Chennai. The role involves making outbound calls to potential leads, explaining Leasing & Rental opportunities, and assessing their interest and suitability. Responsibilities include maintaining lead databases, scheduling meetings, following up on outcomes, and clearly communicating company policies. The Hiring Business Development Executive will coordinate closely with the Management team to meet targets and ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also requires maintaining call records, adhering to communication guidelines, and representing Happy Roof professionally in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to speak clearly and confidently over the phone.
• Basic computer literacy, including experience with spreadsheets, email, and lead tracking.
• Organisational and time-management abilities to handle high call volumes, follow up systematically, and meet timelines.
• Customer-service mindset, with a professional, courteous, and empathetic approach to all interactions.
• Ability to understand requirements quickly and explain them accurately to potential candidates.
• Comfort working in an on-site environment in Chennai and collaborating closely with the Management team.
• Prior experience in Business Development, Telecalling, Marketing support, or call centre operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English and Tamil.
