Hiring Associate Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive industry and market research across the energy sector and related domains, including power generation, transmission & distribution, energy trading, smart grid technologies, clean energy solutions, energy storage systems, and alternative fuels, specifically related to projects.
• Work on assignments involving data collection for ongoing and upcoming projects, including forecasting and analysis.
• Monitor and track global power sector projects, including awarded contracts, tenders, and service/equipment both new and extended—across the power value chain.
• Proficient in conducting secondary research using a wide range of English and non-English sources, news alerts, databases, and feeds.
• Consistently contribute to a high-quality stream of research outputs on a regular basis.
• Address ad-hoc research queries by conducting in-depth analysis based on specific client requirements.
• To prepare proposals for custom research requests which include developing research and methodology, preparing table-of-contents, and conducting quick feasibility on information availability.
• To collect data from the secondary and primary domain, consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
• To design surveys and make recommendations on the information collected
• To participate in the calls, online-meetings with clients, if required.
• Should be able to manage a diverse and functional process for research and development by acquiring various data sets from within the industry.
• Managing and tracking timelines to ensure timely deliverable of information to clients.
• Handle day-to-day operations including secondary and primary research, responding to client queries, managing internal stakeholder requests/queries, and maintaining strong communication across teams.
• Guide and review junior analysts' work for accuracy

Preferred candidate profile

• Forecasting and experience in statistical tools.
• Secondary and primary research.
• Knowledge of power sector industry will be an added advantage.
• Well-honed research skills and the ability to uncover unique insights.
• Broad and well-developed analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
