HIH-Operating Effectiveness Sr Analyst

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following (or similar) areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Completes day-to-day Operating Effectiveness tasks without immediate supervision, but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members. Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues. Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members. Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by a supervisor.

1. Business Process Improvement

• Experience documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions
• Familiar with process mapping techniques and continuous improvement concepts

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience analyzing operational data and metrics
• Ability to create dashboards, reports, and performance summaries
• Comfortable turning data into actionable insights

3. Problem Solving

• Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous problems
• Strong analytical thinking
• Ability to evaluate options and make recommendations based on facts and data

4. Stakeholder Communication

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to gather input from multiple stakeholders
• Comfortable writing and presenting recommendations to leaders and business partners

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Experience tracking actions, risks, dependencies, and timelines

6. Change Enablement (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to change management or business transformation efforts
• Experience supporting implementation of new processes, tools, or ways of working
• Ability to help drive adoption and measure outcomes

Experience

• 3-5 years in operations, business analysis, process improvement, consulting, PMO, change management, stakeholder management, communications, or a related field

Tools

• Advanced Excel
• PowerPoint
• Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools

Education

• Bachelor s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, Management, Communications, or related field.
• MBA in Finance (Preferable)
