Heavy Equipment Mechanic - UK & Ireland

USI Global Recruitment is hiring experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for opportunities in the UK & Ireland.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, and HGVs.
• Perform maintenance and servicing of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• Carry out preventive and routine maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and ensure they meet safety and roadworthiness standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and servicing.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Keep updated with modern heavy-vehicle technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle / HGV Mechanic.
• Experience working with trucks, buses, HGVs, or commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant technical qualification/ITI or equivalent is preferred.
• Premium brand vehicle experience is an advantage.
