Heat Treatment Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily heat treatment cycles such as hardening, tempering, annealing, normalizing, and carburizing
• Monitor furnace temperatures, atmospheres, and speeds; coordinate hardness testing (Rockwell/Vickers) & microstructure checks.
• Team Leadership: Direct furnace operators and technicians, assign daily work, and enforce safety standard operating procedures
• Equipment Maintenance : Monitor furnace health, support preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain batch logs, traceability records, and compliance reports according to industry standards like ISO
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of production operations.
• Responsible to ensure Safe practices and good housekeeping are implemented in the shop floor.
• Reports to the Department Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/Graduate candidate with a minimum of 6Years experience as a Heat Treatment Supervisor
• Should have Mettalurgy Background
