Healthcare Recruiter

Role & responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, Allied Health professionals, and other clinical positions.
• Source qualified healthcare candidates through job boards, resume databases, social media, referrals, and other recruitment platforms.
• Review and evaluate candidate resumes, qualifications, clinical experience, licenses, certifications, and availability.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess candidates skills, experience, career goals, and suitability for available assignments.
• Match qualified candidates with appropriate travel, contract, per diem, and direct-hire healthcare opportunities based on facility requirements.
• Explain job details, compensation, contract terms, schedules, locations, and facility requirements to candidates.
• Manage candidate submissions through VMS/MSP portals and internal staffing systems while ensuring accurate and timely submission of profiles.
• Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, offers, acceptances, start dates, and contract extensions with candidates and healthcare facilities.
• Work closely with credentialing and compliance teams to ensure candidates complete licensing, background checks, drug screening, health documentation, and required certifications.
• Verify professional licenses, certifications, employment history, references, and other required credentials.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a smooth experience.
• Follow up with healthcare facilities and hiring managers regarding candidate submissions, interview feedback, offers, and placement status.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals for current and future staffing requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment activity, submissions, interviews, offers, starts, and follow-ups in the ATS/CRM.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, facility contacts, MSP/VMS representatives, and internal teams.
• Meet and exceed recruitment targets related to candidate sourcing, submissions, interviews, offers, starts, and placements.
• Stay informed about healthcare staffing requirements, state licensing regulations, facility-specific compliance requirements, and market trends.
• Handle candidate concerns, assignment-related questions, and communication throughout the placement lifecycle while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Credentialing, Compliance, HR, and Onboarding teams to ensure successful candidate placements.
• Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, facility requirements, and applicable employment and staffing regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with 1+ years of experience in USA Healthcare staffing
