HSSE Lead

Location: Level 3, Concorde Block, UB City, #24, Vittal Mallya Road, Bengaluru - 560001

Project Type: Commercial Building/Industrial

Annual CTC: Up to 12 LPA

Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week, Day Shift

Qualifications & Experience

Education: BE/Diploma in Engineering with ADIS certification

Experience: 14-15 years in High-rise and Industrial construction HSSE management

Role Summary

Provide technical advice and support on HSSE matters to project teams. Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and audits to maintain and enhance HSSE standards across construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Management

• Implement and maintain Project Safety Plan across site operations
• Conduct regular HSSE inspections and generate actionable reports with corrective measures
• Compile monthly HSE reports and maintain statistical data
• Develop and update project HS risk assessments and control measures

Emergency & Compliance

• Establish site emergency plans with regular reviews and updates
• Ensure compliance with latest legislation, codes of practice, and safety standards
• Monitor inspection and testing of all plant and equipment
• Manage visitor registration, site inductions, and escort protocols

Incident Management

• Ensure timely reporting of all site incidents
• Lead incident investigations with action plans to prevent recurrence
• Maintain records of incidents, near misses, and injuries
• Track and close hazard reports efficiently

Training & Documentation

• Conduct HSSE training for all site personnel
• Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation per process standards
• Communicate updated safety procedures to all stakeholders

Stakeholder Coordination

• Provide technical HSSE guidance to construction teams
• Evaluate contractor and vendor HSSE performance
• Support HSSE considerations in contractor selection
• Manage client escalations and maintain strong relationships
• Report to City HSE Lead and Project Lead on performance metrics
