About this role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Health Plan Operations Partner based in United States.
This role offers an opportunity to shape strategic relationships with leading health plan organizations and drive meaningful customer outcomes. You will partner closely with senior leadership to strengthen customer engagement, planning, and execution across the business. A key focus will be managing an executive Customer Advisory Committee and ensuring its insights influence strategic priorities. You will connect teams, coordinate complex initiatives, and translate customer feedback into actionable business opportunities. The role combines strategic thinking, executive communication, project management, and hands-on operational execution. You will also contribute to customer planning, product adoption, value measurement, and financial planning activities. This is a high-ownership opportunity for a healthcare professional who thrives in ambiguity and wants to influence a growing organization.
Accountabilities: Partner with the Chief Customer Officer to prioritize customer strategies and initiatives, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure health plan customers receive consistent and effective engagement.
Lead the operating rhythm for a bi-weekly Customer Advisory Committee, including agenda development, executive coordination, meeting materials, strategic narratives, decision tracking, and follow-through.
Ensure insights and feedback from executive customer forums are synthesized and incorporated into broader strategic priorities.
Coordinate customer engagement across product and business teams by clarifying ownership, connecting subject-matter experts with customer needs, and reducing unnecessary demands on health plan stakeholders.
Track customer adoption, value realization, and insights, particularly around medication contracting and other high-cost medication initiatives, and identify opportunities to increase customer value.
Strengthen customer relationship management by developing cross-functional processes, improving visibility into customer activities, and supporting the implementation and use of CRM tools.
Support annual customer business and financial planning by coordinating products, services, value propositions, demonstrated impact, and investment requests into compelling customer offerings and budgets.
Develop executive-level presentations, customer communications, narratives, and other materials that make complex information clear, concise, and actionable.
Bring structure to ambiguous initiatives, manage competing priorities, and ensure important customer-related projects move forward with strong execution and accountability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
7+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including direct experience working with or supporting health plans.
Strong understanding of the health plan landscape and the priorities of senior healthcare leaders, particularly pharmacy executives and other senior health plan stakeholders.
Experience in pharmacy, PBM, health plan pharmacy, medication management, or related healthcare environments is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience supporting executive governance bodies, advisory councils, steering committees, boards, or similar forums, including agenda preparation, executive communications, meeting coordination, and follow-through.
Strong executive presence with the ability to establish credibility, build trusted relationships, and communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop polished executive communications and presentations.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and create structure in ambiguous environments.
Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to connect insights across customers, teams, and business priorities.
Resourceful, curious, adaptable, and resilient, with the judgment to balance customer needs, stakeholder perspectives, and organizational objectives.
Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution while maintaining a high standard of quality and accountability.
Benefits
Annual base salary range of $120,000–$140,000 , plus additional variable compensation opportunities.
Competitive total compensation designed around experience, location, job seniority, and business considerations.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of teammate premiums covered and 50% of dependent premiums covered.
401(k) plan with a 100% employer match on contributions up to 5% of salary , subject to applicable IRS limits.
Flexible vacation policy with no minimum or maximum number of vacation days, subject to leadership approval.
Generous paid parental leave for new parents, including birth and non-birth parents.
Opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment focused on improving cost, quality, access, and patient experience.
