Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HMIS Expert with 3-6 years of experience in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), healthcare data management, reporting, and user support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting HMIS implementation, ensuring data quality, maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and coordinating with stakeholders to improve system utilization. The role requires proficiency in Excel, strong communication skills, excellent documentation capabilities, and the ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and reporting enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

HMIS Operations & Support

• Support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of HMIS platforms.
• Assist healthcare facilities and program teams in effective utilization of HMIS applications.
• Monitor data entry, data quality, and system usage across facilities.
• Coordinate with technical teams for issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Ensure adherence to established HMIS processes and standards.

Data Management & Reporting

• Collect, validate, and analyze healthcare data from HMIS platforms.
• Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare data summaries.
• Support data cleaning, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.

Excel-Based Analysis

• Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, dashboard preparation, and performance tracking.
• Develop Pivot Tables, charts, and automated reporting templates.
• Support management with insightful data presentations and reports.
• Maintain databases and tracking sheets for project monitoring.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Prepare and maintain user manuals, SOPs, training materials, and process documentation.
• Document change requests, issue logs, and system enhancement requirements.
• Ensure proper version control and maintenance of project-related documentation.
• Support creation of presentations and project reports.

Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate with healthcare personnel, project teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings, follow-ups, and user support activities.
• Communicate project updates, issues, and recommendations effectively.
• Assist in gathering user feedback and improvement suggestions.
