Role & responsibilities

• Placement Management: Plan and coordinate campus recruitment drives and placement activities.
• Industry Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry professionals.
• Student Training: Organize aptitude, communication, technical, soft-skills, and interview training.
• Internships: Coordinate internship opportunities and industry exposure for students.
• Career Guidance: Advise students on career options, employability skills, higher studies, and recruitment processes.
• Recruitment Coordination: Invite companies, schedule recruitment processes, and coordinate tests and interviews.
• Placement Records: Maintain student placement data, recruiter information, reports, and required documentation.
• Team Leadership: Supervise placement officers, coordinators, and student placement representatives.
• Events: Organize career fairs, pre-placement talks, workshops, seminars, and industry interactions.
• Reporting: Prepare placement reports and communicate outcomes to institutional management.

The role is responsible for improving students employability and ensuring effective coordination between the institution and prospective employers.
