Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head - SME to provide strategic and functional leadership for the SME business/practice.

The role will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic initiatives, managing key stakeholders, and leading high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate should bring 18 - 25 years of experience, strong industry and business expertise, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate at a senior executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the overall business and growth strategy for the SME segment.

- Own business performance, revenue growth, profitability, and strategic outcomes.

- Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and avenues for business expansion.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, business leaders, strategic clients, and partners.

- Lead large and complex business initiatives from strategy through execution.

- Develop and strengthen the organization's SME proposition, solutions, and go-to-market strategy.

- Drive client acquisition, retention, expansion, and strategic account development.

- Partner with Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, and other functions to achieve business objectives.

- Establish and track key business metrics, performance indicators, and growth targets.

- Identify operational challenges and drive initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.

- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop senior leadership and functional teams.

- Build a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence.

- Represent the organization in senior client meetings, industry forums, and strategic business discussions.

- Evaluate competitive landscape and recommend strategic responses to maintain market relevance.

- Provide regular business updates, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.

- Proven experience in a senior leadership / business head / practice head capacity.

- Strong understanding of the SME business ecosystem, market dynamics, and customer requirements.

- Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, revenue, profitability, and strategic transformation.

- Experience managing large, high-performing, cross-functional teams.

- Strong exposure to CXO-level stakeholder management.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Budget: 90 LPA to 1.5 CR
