Head - Sales - Data Centre Cooling Business

Summary:

Looking for an experienced sales professional to lead the growth of our Data Centre Cooling business. The role is responsible for driving market expansion, developing strategic customer relationships, increasing market share, and achieving business objectives for the Data Centre Cooling portfolio across India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales growth for Data Centre Cooling solutions, including bookings, billings, collections, and profitability.

- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the Data Centre Cooling business across key markets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, PMC firms, architects, customers, builders, EPC contractors, and other key influencers.

- Identify new business opportunities and proactively position Data Centre Cooling solutions with prospective customers.

- Collaborate with the Projects Sales team to promote integrated cooling solutions for Data Centre projects.

- Work closely with Product Management and R&D teams to ensure technical compliance with customer specifications.

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing initiatives, including both digital and offline campaigns, to enhance brand visibility within the Data Centre segment.

- Lead negotiations for large and strategic opportunities and convert them into successful orders.

- Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely inspections, deliveries, and project execution.

- Generate business from key accounts and establish long-term customer partnerships.

- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to strengthen market positioning.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Achievement of annual sales targets (Bookings, Billings, and Collections).

- Growth in market share across target segments and product categories.

- Pipeline development and inquiry generation aligned with market potential.

- Customer satisfaction and retention.

- Consultant and customer approvals for Data Centre Cooling products.

- Profitability and value-added business performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

- MBA in Marketing or equivalent business qualification (Preferred)

Experience:

- 8-10 years of overall experience.

- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Data Centre Cooling, HVAC, Precision Cooling, or mission-critical cooling solutions.

- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, and key account management.

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of Data Centre Cooling products and applications.

- Sales and business development expertise.

- Techno-commercial negotiation skills.

- Costing and commercial acumen.

- Knowledge of market trends and competitor offerings.

- Experience in handling large and strategic deals.
