Head Real Estate& Property

Role & responsibilities Lead the Real Estate & Property function for a private business group/family office, covering land and property assets, acquisitions, sales, leasing and related property matters.

• Manage property acquisitions, sales and leasing from due diligence and documentation through registration and closure.
  • Oversee title verification, land records, ownership documents, encumbrances and other property due diligence.
  • Review and coordinate ATS, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Rental Agreements, MOUs, LOIs, POAs and other property documentation.
  • Manage property registration/registry, mutation, stamp duty and coordination with revenue and registration authorities.
  • Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, brokers and other professionals on property-related matters.
  • Identify documentation, title and transaction issues and highlight them to management.
  • Drive leasing through brokers, IPCs, direct enquiries and other channels, including negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain organised property-wise documentation, records, trackers and transaction history.
  • Build and manage an internal team and establish effective processes for managing the Groups land and property portfolio.

Preferred candidate profile 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate transactions, land/property matters, property legal/documentation or a related field. Strong practical knowledge of land records, title due diligence, ATS, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, property registration and revenue/land-related matters is essential. LLB preferred. Candidate should be mature, commercially aware, well organised and capable of handling matters independently while working effectively with management, lawyers, consultants, brokers and authorities.
