Role - Head Project

Location - Kalburagi (Karnataka)

Experience - 15+ Years (Into Project Execution)

Purpose of the Role:

To lead the entire project team for timely delivery, cost and efficiency of a large & medium size greenfield/brownfield project for integrated unit/grinding unit. Will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects for equipment selection, contractor selection, resource planning, monitoring of project timelines, cost, quality and operational efficiency.

Role & responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans in alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Oversee the execution and commissioning of Integrated / Grinding units
• Prepare comprehensive project execution plan along with equipment suppliers, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and plant team and deliver the same.
• Coordinate with project team (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Finance, Procurement) for equipment selection, contractor selection and execution at site.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues or bottlenecks proactively during the project execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including plant teams, procurement, and finance departments, to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as consultants, equipment suppliers, contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and local communities to facilitate project execution and mitigate potential conflicts.

3. Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Develop project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accurate cost estimation and resource allocation.
• Monitor project expenditures and variances, implementing corrective measures as necessary to control costs and meet project timeline wrt cost, quality and timely delivery of the project.

4. Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution, develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Implement robust project governance frameworks to minimize project-related risks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualification Required:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field / advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
