Head Procurement

Mandatory points: Manage procurement of APIs, raw materials, packaging materials, engineering items, consumables and other plant requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage raw material procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply chain management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate prices, and ensure quality standards meet company requirements.
• Oversee packaging material procurement, including selection of materials, design development, and production planning.
• Analyze market trends and optimize procurement strategies to reduce costs while meeting business objectives.

Job Requirements :

• 18-29 years of experience in raw material procurement or related field in the chemicals industry.
• Strong understanding of packaging material properties, applications, and regulations (e.g., FDA guidelines).
• Proven track record in managing complex global supply chains involving multiple stakeholders.
