Function: Operations head & Location Management
Location: Jammu
Reporting to: MFG Head
Key Interfaces: Internal Business Stakeholders at Jammu, Functional Heads at Jammu, PPC, Purchase and other corporate functions at Noida.

1. Role Purpose

The Location Head will be responsible for driving the overall business performance, operational excellence, safety and growth of the Jammu manufacturing location.

The business has an ambitious growth objective of increasing turnover from approximately 300 crore to 600 crore over the next three years. The Location Head will play a pivotal role in translating this ambition into actionable business plans and ensuring effective execution through coordination and collaboration across all functions.

The role requires strong business orientation, stakeholder management, execution capabilities and the ability to bring different functional teams together towards common organisational objectives.

The Location Head will be the single-point accountable leader for overall location performance.

A. Business Performance & Growth

• Drive the overall business performance of the Jammu location, with accountability for achieving the three-year growth target of 600 crore.
• Work closely with key internal customers and business stakeholders at Jammu to understand their business requirements, growth plans, product needs and operational challenges.

B. Manufacturing Capacity & Operational Excellence

• Ensure that the Jammu location is geared up to support the planned increase in business volumes.
• Drive capacity enhancement, productivity improvement and optimum utilisation of available manufacturing infrastructure.

C. Safety, Compliance & Site Management

• Ensure that the Jammu premises remain a safe and secure workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors.
• Establish a strong safety culture with visible leadership involvement and accountability at every level.

D. Coordination with Noida PPC, Purchase & Corporate Functions

• Establish strong coordination with the PPC team at Noida to ensure effective production planning, material availability and timely fulfilment of business requirements.
• Work closely with the Purchase team at Noida to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares and other critical requirements.

F. Infrastructure, Projects & Future Readiness

• Identify infrastructure and capacity requirements to support the business doubling plan.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Purchase and corporate management for timely execution of capacity expansion and capital expenditure projects.
