Head Plant Operations_Capital Equipment_Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations covering Production, Planning, Stores, Manufacturing Engineering and Logistics.
• Drive production efficiency, productivity, delivery, quality and manufacturing cost.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction and standardisation initiatives.
• Manage CAPEX/OPEX, manpower planning, operational budgets and production targets.
• Work closely with Quality, Purchase, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Sales and Engineering teams.
• Prepare and review business/operational plans, KPIs and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environment requirements.
• Lead and develop the plant team and coordinate with international/group stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• 15-20+ years of manufacturing/operations experience, preferably in textile machinery or industrial machinery.
• Strong exposure to Plant Operations, Production Planning, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP PP/MM; SAP S/4HANA will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, productivity improvement, CAPEX/OPEX and cost reduction.
• Experience managing multi-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• MNC / international reporting exposure will be preferred.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations/Supply Chain/Industrial Management is an advantage.
