Job Title: Procurement Head

Designation: Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager

Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Summary / Overview:

Leading end-to-end procurement operations, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and inventory oversight to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Job responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and purchasing policies.
• Conduct procurement planning aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective and quality procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Optimize supply chain efficiency by determining delivery quantity and timing.
• Lead CAPEX evaluations and support decision-making for new products/services.
• Manage purchasing budgets, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with operational needs.
• Negotiate contracts ensuring favorable pricing and terms.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee transportation and logistics for timely and secure delivery.
• Review and approve purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
• Lead, train, and manage procurement team members.
• Prepare procurement reports and performance analysis for management.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration (inferred from role level and domain)
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.

Competencies Required:

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Familiarity with procurement software and reporting tools (preferred)
