Head of IT Infrastructure & Governance - Bangalore

Role & responsibilities : Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Administration: Direct the end-to-end architecture, maintenance, and 99.9%+ availability of hybrid cloud(AWS/Azure) and on-premises server environments, enterprise storage, and virtualization platforms.

Software Asset Management (SAM) & Tracking: Oversee continuous automated discovery, software metering, and centralized license trackingusing tools like ServiceNow ITAM or Flexera to eliminate shadow IT and optimize total cost of ownership.

Vendor Audit Defense & License Optimization: Lead contract negotiations, vendor compliance reviews, and true-ups with tier-1 publishers(Microsoft, Oracle, SAP), mitigating financial liabilities and penalty risks.

Preferred candidate profile : BE/BTech with 18 to 25 years experience in IT Infrastructure and Software Asset Management professional to lead enterprise infrastructure operations, hybrid cloud environments, software license management, and vendor compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS/Azure, on-premises infrastructure, Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and enterprise software licensing.
