Head of Finance, Accounts & Tax

Role: Chartered Accountant

• Location: Mumbai,
• Key Responsibilities
• GST Compliance: Oversee monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), annual returns (GSTR-9/9C), input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation, and electronic way bills (e-Way bills) for IT service deliveries.
• Direct Taxation: Prepare and file corporate income tax returns, manage advance tax computations, and handle deferred tax calculations.
• TDS & TCS Management: Ensure accurate deduction, deposition, and quarterly filing of TDS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q) on vendor payments, salaries, and domestic contracts.
• Statutory Audits: Coordinate and lead domestic tax audits, GST audits, and statutory financial audits with external auditors.
• Treasury & Banking: Manage domestic banking compliances, state-specific profession tax filings, and local municipal commercial tax requirements in Mumbai.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate taxation, ideally within a Mumbai-based IT or media company
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of the Indian taxation with expertise in TALLY.
• Strong Excel skills for handling large volumes of financial data and reconciliation sheets.
• Local proximity to Mumbai for attending necessary tax department hearings or physical audits.
