Head of Engineering

Hiring: Head – Engineering | AGM / DGM Level

Location: Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

Experience: 20+ Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Industry: API / Fermentation API

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities & Capital Projects for the manufacturing plant

• Manage preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance

• Drive plant expansion, capacity enhancement & debottlenecking projects

• Handle major utilities including Boiler, HVAC, Chiller, Compressors, DG, Electrical, Steam & Water Systems

• Drive equipment reliability, RCFA, condition monitoring & continuous improvement

• Manage CAPEX/OPEX, engineering budgets, vendors & contractors

• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, statutory requirements, qualification & validation

• Lead and develop an Engineering team of around 30 members

Ideal Candidate

20+ years of experience in Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities & Projects

Minimum 5 years of Engineering leadership experience at a manufacturing plant

Strong experience in plant expansion / greenfield / brownfield / capacity enhancement projects

Experience in Pharma / Biotech / API / Fermentation manufacturing preferred

Strong exposure to utilities, reliability, CAPEX and plant engineering
