Head of Ecommerce - Food

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the P&L for the e-commerce food business.
• Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to drive sales, profitability, and market share.
• Manage online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, etc.) and D2C channels.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through digital marketing and CRM initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, pricing, and merchandising.
• Optimize assortment, pricing, inventory, and product availability across channels.
• Monitor key business metrics including GMV, revenue, conversion, traffic, CAC, ROAS, AOV, repeat rate, and profitability.
• Work closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and category teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Build partnerships with online platforms and negotiate commercial terms.
• Identify new growth opportunities across quick commerce, marketplaces, and D2C.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or online business management.
• Strong experience in the food, FMCG, grocery, or consumer products industry.
• Hands-on experience managing marketplaces and quick commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, CRM, merchandising, and analytics.
• Experience with e-commerce analytics tools, Google Analytics, Excel, and BI dashboards.
